Absentee Voting
Mail-In Absentee April 6 – May 7, 2024
Ballots may be requested by:
govote.ky.gov or calling the Clerk’s Office at (859)873-3421. Ballots may be returned by mail or brought to the Clerk’s Office and placed in the drop box located inside the Sheriff’s Office.
General Absentee Information
Kentucky registered voters may vote at 1 of the 4 Voting Centers on Election Day, or, if eligible, may cast an absentee ballot by mail or walk-in at the county clerk’s office prior to Election Day.
You must fulfill one of the following criteria to be eligible to vote absentee:
- Unable to appear due to age, disability, or illness;
- A member of the Armed Forces confined to a military base;
- A dependent of a member of the Armed Forces;
- A student who temporarily resides outside of the county in which they are registered;
- Temporarily resides outside the state, but are eligible to vote in Kentucky;
- A person who is incarcerated and charged but not yet convicted of a crime;
- A person whose employment location requires them to be absent from the county all hours and all days that excused and no-excused absentee voting is conducted; or
- A person qualified under the address confidentiality program with the office of the Secretary of State.

Falling Springs Recreation Center 275 Beasley Rd, Versailles, KY 40383
- Thursday, May, 16th, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Friday, May, 17th, 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Saturday, May, 18th, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday, May 21st Election (Primary Election Day) 6:00 am- 6:00 pm

Any registered voter may vote at any of the above locations. Anyone voting In-Person needs to bring Driver’s License or Photo ID.

Mail-in absentee ballots can be requested from April 6 – May 7, 2024 at govoteky.com or calling the Woodford County Clerk’s Office at (859) 873-3421. The deadline to request an absentee ballot is Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at 4:00 p.m.
